Exhibition Introduction: “Boats on the Canal” is a multimedia interactive experience exhibition about the theme of boats on the Grand Canal of China. It combines physical experience with digital multimedia virtual experience to tell the evolution of canal boats, types of boats and other related knowledge and stories, showing the cultural integration of the north and the south brought by canal boats and the beautiful life of ancient and modern times. The exhibition mainly focuses on two spaces. The first one is “Hundreds of Boats on the Canal- Boat Model Display”, showing the evolution of canal boats, types of boats, and boats in ancient paintings; The second one is the physical experience and multimedia virtual experience of Shafei boats. Through digital multimedia integration, the display content expands from the experience of Shafei boats to the time travel of the Grand Canal in ancient and modern times.
