Tuanjiu Scenic Spot is situated in the west of Yixing, an important part of the Yangxian Scenic Area of Taihu Lake Scenic Area, and also a national 4A level scenic spot. The southern part the scenic spot is the Jiu’nan Scenery Zone under construction, the eastern part is Jiubin Park, Renfang Park, and the northern area is a farm village.
Tuanjiu Scenic Spot’s main scenery is the water surface, and it can be divided into three parts: The first part is the east of Jiumian, which is the open type lakeside greenbelt square area; The second part is the south of Jiumian, and it has two theme gardens, namely Yiyuan and Qiongzhou Gardens. In the form of garden landscape it recreates the history of Yixing and is included into the list of cultural attractions by its natural landscape; The third part is the north of Guinan Road, a natural greenery landscape zone.
Yiyuan Garden, the main tourist attraction of Tuangui Scenic Spot, and it is a modern Jiangnan garden with the key tone of small bridge、flowing water with classical form. It is also the main part of Tuangui Scenic Spot. There are east, middle and west areas of the whole park, the constructions include classical pavilion, terrace, tower, log cabin and ancient bridge. In addition to these places, there are also 32 main tourist attractions. Garden greening grew the flowers and plants, and seedling with the local features, over 300 varieties of rare seedlings was collected fully, thus making Yiyuan Garden become a pleasant paradise with four seasons evergreen, flowers and whole year fragrance.
The whole Yiyuan Garden is permeated with profound cultural atmosphere, which integrates culture, entertainment, leisure, education, and interest. It will become another excellent tourism project and youth patriotism education base of Yixing.
