It is located at the southern foothill of the Laoshan National Forest Park. Relying on Laoshan’s ecological resources and the local village landscape. Bulao Village has undergone constant upgrade in terms of content setting, cultural presentation, and business products. The new arrangement of the original villages shall be conducted, so as to build a vacation social space mainly based on various themed guesthouse and inns, which is a place that combines eating, lodging, traveling, shopping and entertainment. On Jul. 28, 2019, Bulao Village was enrolled into the List of First Batch of National Key Rural Tourism Villages and ranked the top 50 most beautiful villages and towns in China.
There is also a beautiful legend in Bulao Village. It’s said that a long time ago, the Jade Emperor (the Supreme Deity of Taoism) was touched by the love of a pair of lovers at the foothill of the Laoshan Mountain, so he tried to make the old tree maintain evergreen and the spring water was inexhaustible, So that the dwellers here can enjoy longevity with ever-lasting love, thus this place is being called as “Bulao Village.”
When you enter the Bulao Village, you can see the idyllic picture of beautiful landscapes, giving you the illusion of dreaming into the Peach Garden. Everything here, including the flowers, plants and trees, all emits the original ecological aroma. In the village, you can look around the magnificent steepness and the beauty of the Laoshan peak, appreciate the pleasant scenery of the green mountains and green waters, and enjoy the harmony between man and nature.
