Wangjia wonton was originated in 1983. About 36 years ago, a young man surnamed Wang was selling wonton near Yuhuatai, carrying a load. The young man was hardworking. He did business with conscience. He sold wonton with thin skin and many fillings. Gradually, with good reputation, it spread all over Nanjing.
Here, you can often see a family of three generations eating wonton together, which bears the childhood memory of Nanjing People. Take a bowl of wonton just out of the pot, one by one floating on the soup, people can’t wait to taste. Wangjia wonton has a very good taste, its seasoning is also special. Now Wangjia wonton has passed to the second generation, the three brothers of the Wang family manage a shop respectively. Unlike other shops, the opening time of Wangjia wonton is from 6 am to 2 pm. Only frozen wontons are available for sale after 2pm. Therefore, it is often seen that many people buy frozen wontons to take home for a night snack.
