Xishan Island is commonly named Dong Ting Xi Shan. Xishan, with a total area of 82.63 square kilometers ,it is the largest island of Taihu islands and the biggest island of the inland China. The hill of Floating Mist on the island is the highest of all the 72 hills around the Taihu lake with 336.6 meters above the sea level.
Xishan scenic spot is the essence of Taihu scenic areas, which is composed of 22 islands together with the surrounding water area. There are lots of attractions with charming beauty, such as Stone Old Man’s Hill, Hall-in-Forest Cave, Baoshan Buddism Temple and some modern leisure and entertainment places as Lvguang Leisure Farming , Buckaroo Country Club, and the Summertime Bay Whiff Center.
The climate in the scenic area is very good, and there are many products, by which it is named as the well-known Land of Flowers and Fruits. Xishan Island is also the birthplace of Biluo Chun Tea which is the classic tea in China. The place of Xishan Island is rich in loquat, waxberry, Chinese chestnut, Taihu Three White Aquatic Products. As the saying goes “ Flowers bloom every month; fruits ripe every season; fish and shrimp eaten every day”.

Tickets: Xishan does not require a ticket, and the prices for the various attractions in the interior are different.
10 yuan for Luohan Temple; 50 yuan for Linwudong (Meiyuan); 50 yuan for Shigong Mountain; 10 yuan for Baoshan Temple; 50 yuan for Mingyue Bay Village; 25 yuan for ancient camphor garden; 20 yuan for Baoshan Zen Temple; 25 yuan for Xishan Agricultural Park; 80 yuan for the hill of Floating Mist (including sightseeing car).
