Exhibition Introduction: The Grand Canal of China is a great water conservancy project created by the ancient Chinese people. It is the earliest excavated, largest in scale, longest in route, and longest-lasting artificial canal in the world, and was included in the “World Heritage List” in 2014. “The Grand Canal - China’s World Cultural Heritage” as a panoramic exhibition showcasing the historical appearance and cultural value of the Grand Canal of China, focuses on the display of “heritage” in a historical narrative manner. Through various means such as cultural relics, auxiliary exhibits, charts, photos, scenes, models, etc., it successively displays the excavation history of the Grand Canal, water conservancy projects, national management, economic culture and beautiful life, and deeply interprets the historical culture, intrinsic value and symbolic significance of the canal.
