As of May 2018, the Nanjing Metro has operated 10 lines, including Line 1, Line 2, Line 3, Line 4, Line 10, Line S1, Line S3, Line S7, and S8. Line No.1 and Line S9, with a total of 174 stations and 378 kilometers long.
The total length of Nanjing Metro is the 4th in China (after Shanghai, Beijing, Guangzhou) and the 5th in the world, covering 11-city metro network in Nanjing. Nanjing became the first city in China to open subways in all districts and counties.
