In the past, tourism or business routes between Jiangsu Province and Cambodia had to pass through Shanghai and took nearly 16-hour flight. Finally, from July 1st, the regular annual route of Nanjing-Siem Reap will be opened, and the distance between Nanjing and Angkor Wat are only 4-hour flight.
Nanjing–Siem Reap regular annual route was opened by China Travel Service Nanjing Co., Ltd. in cooperation with Cambodia Sky Angkor Flight Company. The route runs directly every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. The Nanjing-Sihanouk route is specially added from July to August. During the flight, all of the airplanes are going to be Airbus 320 models, and the total seat number of every flight was 174.
Cambodia is an important country along “the Belt and Road”. The debut of the Nanjing-Cambodia (Siem Reap/Sihanoukville) route follows the theme of “the Belt and Road” strategic cooperation and development, which is a major initiative for the trade and tourism between Jiangsu province and Cambodia.
